They would have been the #1 team from EMEA if it was a single elimination and they are the strongest bo3 team from EMEA.
I've been watching plat chat and these guys don't really talk much about SMB and overhype Acend a lot

In bo5 seeding matches yea but their bo3s are weak bro. Gambit almost got knocked out of the tournamnet by TL

hard to rate SMB because their performance is so contingent on whether they show up or not. so much of their gameplay revolves around them taking cocky aimduels that they win at such a consistent rate because they're all so mechanically skilled.

if they're having a good day they have the skill to defeat any team in the tournament imo. but if some of the players are just a bit off, i can easily see them being upset by a team considered worse than them

i disagree, i think acends execution is a lot more methodical and utilizes starxo to set themselves up for success much more effectively. but SMB run with a high risk / high reward approach to the game so when it works out, it looks incredible.

most of the time I see acend playing same executes and relies on cned. if they do the same in LAN don't think they'll make out of groups. can agree to disagree

Btw I think Acend threw a bit after getting the ticket.
