I have gaming pc at home and macbook for class. I’m comp / electrical engineer and everything works well for me
do you need to have a laptop to use in class/outside or do you mainly use computing in your dorm room

Iw ould not recommend a PC its gonna be a hassle every year when you have to move dorms and on breaks when u want to take pc home. Get a laptop
idk the laptop im using is good fir valorant i get like a steady 150fps which i think is good

if you care THAT much about having 2 extra boxes to move then get the laptop, but the pc is just better
You could get a decent normal laptop and an external GPU.

Get a laptop 100%. I already have a laptop so when I leave for uni I will get a PC also.
