Dumb theory that came out of my mind :
You can't nerf smokes as mush as you nerf duelist, initiator or sentinels, wish mean if riot continue to nerf everyone, it's possible at some point only smoker will be strong and we may end in a kinda "goats meta" where we have something like 3 smokes and 2 initiators.
Additional theory, Valorant pyramid of maslow is Smokes > Vision > Initiations > Entry > Flankeeping.
You need a certain amount of smoke to play the game, If you remove a smoke on every smokers, you'll need ever more smoker to do the jobs, so even if you retire a smoke to some smokers you will need even more smoker in your team.
More riot will make agent weak, more smokes pro will have, if riot choose to continue nerfing Jett and Raze instead of reworking 5 other duelist, we won't have more duelist diversity, we will have just no duelist in proplay...
