Frustrating observation

It feels like as soon as one team has an advantage, the players on the other team start playing for stats. Like so many rounds, even the very last one, both lev and geng players don’t even try to save/win the round, but they statpad for some fucking reason and I just don’t get why. This is across both maps too btw.

Most of the time they don’t even save tho, like look at the round lakia saved on defense, the round on icebox where they just sat in A main and died, or the last round of lotus where they just give up

Geng doesn't do that, that's lev. Aspas was not even trying in the last defend round(its a 1v5 but at least try to win the round instead of pad stats) and in the last round lev decide to walk around the pit basically guaranteeing they lost the round. Granted moving into the pit against 4 people probably only works 5% of the time, but atleast thats better than the 0% stat padding play they did

Ult points are very imp, In some situations it is better to search for a kill than saving.

Yea I’m aware, but in a lot of these rounds they either just give up and fight or try to pad stats with useless exits that they give their life for

didnt watch but could the said players have been close to ult, so they try to get an exit be4 saving, but they lose the fight and it looks bad?

No, lakia could’ve ran away when he 1v1d king, Aspas didn’t even try to win the last defense round, and the two lev players wasted years clearing shit they knew they didn’t have time to clear in the last lotus round
