Acend or SMB should go to group 2

I don't know how the placements work but seeing SMB and Acend play again so early is not hype for this tourney. We want to see different regions play and fight to get out of groups. Group 1 has three of the best teams, Vs, SMB and Acend which means we will have to see one of them go before playoffs. This might make group 1 exciting for the start but it makes group 2 so much less exciting and throws Envy an easy ride into playoffs when they came out last in Na seeding.

Yeah I forgot Paper REX was seed 2 and not 1st.. But still, if they can make conditional rules like "teams from same region can't be placed in the same group, except EMEA, because we decided so", why can't there be a conditional rule for first round matchups as well then?

what do you mean? two teams get out of groups, there is no problem with having two emea teams in a group.. vision strikers being there on top is the problem

They changed the bracket, envy plays with br 1 seed
2 eu teams face off reason by riot -“As a result of having the most representatives at the tournament, EMEA could have two teams drawn into a single group”

we all know that but it's pretty obvious that group A is way too stacked and group B is super free, and all of that could be avoided with a simple swap.

The levels of frustration bro. Group B is wild free. a simple swap will make things more interesting and competitive.
