Saw a documentary about lonely women in Japan renting boyfriends. Made me think of how the west has the opposite problem of lonely guys renting girlfriends.
Is this true? Or just media making a big story out of nothing.

it goes both ways, one of the big things for women being lonely in japan is the mismatch of male/female ratio something like 94:100 along with brutal working hours, more isolated age (true everywhere in the world)
birth rate is going down everywhere in the west, japan is just further along, if u think this is bad now in 10-25 years we're all gonna be cooked

not just a small subsection of people that go to them but quite a large chunk of the country which shows the isolation and the want for human connection and nothing more than that, sucks to see because it will probably be like that all over the world in the coming years and not just in japan
