i guarantee you bro he probably just cant do pushups, at the bare minimum he realistically does have a medical condition, its not out of question
its probably asthma or something along those lines, but it could also be serious so i dont really think theres a need for him to bribe people, its pretty rude especially if he comes out and say he has a serious condition
look at 1.4, nobody would accept a bribe less than 20x that amount, just because his family has money that much is absurd and they risk jailtme too
