Recently their controller player, AC had been a part of NTER since before Valorant's official release in China. Until further announcements, TEC remain with eight players on their roster.

AC was unsuccessful throughout the early days of the local scene. They had some modest results in 2021, reaching the top-eight in various tournaments, but did not make it further until the following year. He survived a roster rebuild in early 2022, as the org picked up players such as Spring , now duelist for Wolves Esports, and York , currently assistant coach for TEC.

After the move, NTER reached the top-three in multiple FGC Invitationals, then the premier competition in China. They also won a number of weekly tournaments, defeating teams such as EDward Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix ZHUQUE FunPlus Phoenix ZHUQUE Inactive AAAAY Zhang Yang (张杨) suyjing Wang Sicheng (王斯澄) BerLIN Zhang Bolin (張柏霖) YuChEn He Cai (何财) Yuicaw Huang Yung-chieh (黃湧傑) nizhaoTZH Tang Zehao (唐哲昊) . The team continued to find success early into 2023, taking series off of most top teams in the region, but began a steep decline by May of that year.

Upon York's transition to a coaching role, NTER lost their series in the single-elimination portion of the Champions 2023 China Qualifer playoffs. After the tournament, Ninjas In Pyjamas bought out Eren and Spring, further weakening the squad. NTER were unable to advance past the opening round of all three China Evolution Series, failing to earn enough points to make Ascension.

Throughout the years, AC has had to fill multiple roles for his team. He was originally signed as a controller player, and switched to the initiator role after their first rebuild. During the Chamber meta, he took up the agent, but played Killjoy or Viper on most maps. He continued on sentinel agents until York's move to coach, after which he began playing duelist agents. By the end of the year, he was back to controller, as his team struggled to find a starting five.

Despite his team's lack of success and constant role swaps, AC was able to maintain a decent form. Whether as a starter, sixth player, or substitute, his arrival will allow TEC to fill a number of positions as required.
