new here but what is riot esports getting rid of gambit and other russian orgs actually doing to support ukraine in the war.
if russia had a team with the best players from their region they would easily be world champions
just seems really unlucko

he doesn't speak the language afaik, at least that's what I remember him saying on stream. Could be tripping

I 100% remember him playing with his now fiance and typing fully Russian in all-chat

I think he's able to speak Russian and understands everything

if so, I would probably kick one of nats or suygetsu for an igl since they both fill the same niche, while something and demon1 can flex onto other roles

in his defense, a lot of people that are children of immigrants or moved to the USA at a young age are 50/50 on whether or not they know their parent language

Dude I don't know where everyone gets all this information on demon1 from, I watch his streams whenever he actually remembers his password and he never says anything about himself.
Unfortunate for me then, that's interesting I didn't know that. I assume he doesn't have citizenship anymore since he's not counted as an import in the global contract database, which sucks

Russian orgs had their assets and investments in Russian stocks, russian stock market crashes, org can't afford team.
This happened in every other game, not just riot
players retained value, why they got picked up immediately after org disbands

idk about other orgs but i think gambit was funded by the russian govt. which is why they ended up dissolving after the war
