what if johnqt couldnt go to sentinels and they had to pick up their second choice, kevin 'poised' ngo. would they still be the best team in the world? i think so

*note that johnqt plays better on lan, he farmed at ascension.

johnqt likely has better calling with more success BUT sentinels have a lot of guys who help midrounding on the team, this takes pressure off the igl and lets them shoot (which john does)

poised despite being older also has a lot of potential. His injury is only getting better and he will still exponentially improve through physical therapy.

sen would still be the best in the world i say, poised is a similar player whos very talented and has strengths and weaknesses compared to johnqt

this is a hypothetical question if sentinels had to go for their backup option, POISED

yeah. but every single thing they tried out with john went so well they never bothered looking around much at others. server work, scrims, theory discussion, it just went so well and they were confident john was the guy

Not to mention Kaplan and johnqt have worked together before so those two were already more or less on the same page.

I think this sentinels roster is the best ever.

Zellsis brings the energy and motivation so it moves that off of johnqt which is massive really and let's johnqt focus on the game plan and shot calling. Zekken gets hype too, best entry in the game and him and tenz just work so well. Sacy also plays great support and has the experience from loud so I doubt much phases him. He also brings the seriousness when it's needed.

Sen are doing so well right now because they have coherent gameplans for every map. Just having a fragging igl who can't call brings them back to the Marved iteration. Not nearly as good.

A few things:

1) I highly doubt he was their second choice.
2) Those North American stats are kinda inflated in favor of Poised because he plays in A LOT of mickey mouse tournaments.
3) I think the general experience of johnqt and synergy with Kaplan brings him over even if they're similar IGLs.
