Why are we acting like its bad bad, they played it three times, once against loud where loud brought out a brand new comp and NRG where ascent is their best map by far and lastly they destroyed MIBR on it who destroyed C9 on it. It certainly isn't up to their other map standards but it isn't a map where they get completed destroyed.

Ascent is also Heretics insta ban so I don't think you'll need to worry at least in the first series.

also TenZ just said on stream he hates playing Ascent because the map is so static on smokes and he likes moving around more and feeling involved. So maybe they just don't have great chemistry on the map despite it looking good on paper role-wise?

SEN will just go back to the killjoy and will play boring old comp it will be fine. I honestly think Breeze might be a darkhorse pick they have to change the comp on that map it just isn't good and will get destroyed by literally every emea, and pacific team. don't know if they will be able to change there comp in two weeks though so that probably will be their perma ban

Nah their breeze is not even that bad the mistakes on it are fixable

I mean PRX has won breeze once since it came back in 4 matches they're 1-3 it isn't a good map for them clearly and the only team they beat on it was a DRX team that looked like dookie in afreeca

I am I just think they should change the comp get TenZ on yoru or get a harbor anything really I just don't fuck wit the one smoke it seems way too one dimensional especially against teams that are innovating in emea or pacific with omen or yoru

nah they r pretty bad on it and i think its bc tenz isnt the most comfortable on the map yet. hes missing smokes or not putting the most ideal ones on defense and normally ascent is map where smoke players go ham. also idk if its just me but the team doesnt seem as comfortable on the jett maps compared to the raze maps. sacy is a god on ascent but he can only do so much on it. luckily for them its heretics perma ban so it shouldnt b a big problem but could become one against other teams

uh i would say they looked mid on it. i thought the game against loud, loud didnt really look good on it either. it was more loud throwing rounds rather then sen outplaying them which made the score closer than it was. that map is doggy tho so every team looks mid on it.
