Playoffs question

Does anyone know what the match ups in the playoffs would turn out to be depending on who wins the play in? (Both Americas and EMEA) Or is it all just random?

The only condition is playoff matches shouldn't be between teams in same group, rest is random

So if G2 were to win playins, NRG vs LOUD would be impossible. But if SEN win playins, there’s a 50/50 chance at NRG vs LOUD?

Semi random as it depends who wins the play-in - They won't play the team they played in Groups.

Sen win play-in: NRG vs Loud/Sen & EG vs Loud/Sen

G2 win play-in: NRG vs EG/G2 & Loud vs EG/G2

MIBR win play-in: EG vs NRG/MIBR & Loud vs NRG/MIBR

eg cant play g2 because they came from the same group

I think round/map differential may have something to do with it as well. In Pacific, PRX and GENG were already separate, but DRX may have gotten the play-in team because they had a better map differential (4-0) than T1(4-1).

Good pickup!

I hadn’t thought about that. Interesting

Although EG played one game. I wonder if they count it as 2 x 2-0s for the split if MIBR win.

Loud would be 4-1 but EG 2-0
EG coz they didn't drop a map I suppose?

I'd think so, even if they did it would be interesting to see what they do, I think they would favor EG because they are the highest seed from Americas based off last years performance.
