the APAC format is really bad for team motivation, imagine losing 2-0 then have to play another game without break and having the result of the game not matter because you are already eliminated. How would you be motivated to play for literally nothing but pride

Don't worry they'll make a format where only 1 team from each region qualify because you don't want more representation in the game :)

I wouldn't put it past them on making another Shit tier kickoff event.... At least this one wasn't single elimination.

That being said you could always have best of 1 swizz format like CS does for majors. People been complaining about that shit for years

there is no way to make a 3 team bracket that doesnt have this situation
(have winner play game 2 -> they win -> qualified and 3rd game doesnt matter at all
have loser play game 2 -> they win -> current situation = have winner play game 2 -> they lose)

there are no pretty 3 team brackets unfortunately
