can we all agree that loud v optic was the peak valorant? like the big brain plays of fns, sadhak reading fns but fns counters it somehow and we get amazing matches? next round sadhak is being read by fns. the fakes, the rotates, the clutches, the counter strat, the counter counter strat, on the fly amazing strat, the setups, the overtimes. just everything was so good. i dont think we will get another such banger

I miss it bro, like yea we've had some repeat matches here and there but we have no rivalry like Loud vs Optic, everytime those two teams played the stakes were high for one reason or another.

yeah LOUD v Optic, KRU champs run 2021, and first strike 2020 are definitely the 3 most hype parts of valorant esports but a new rivalry will appear soon, 2023 was a down year because both EMEA and APAC were very top and bottom heavy

Agreed.

Literally every single time they've played it was an amazing series to watch.

Also, fun fact: there was never a rivalry where both teams were so evenly matched. At the end of 2022 Loud and Optic ended up: Even in series won, even in maps won and the round diff was like less than 10 rounds across all the games they've played or something.

Truly peak Valorant.

(Also, if either Loud 2022, Optic or both stuck together for franchising they would've smoked Fnatic and Eg in 2023 and no one can convince me otherwise)

it's even better because it COULD have been a 3-0 OPTIC if they didnt throw and didnt have at least one player that's underperforming every map, like ascent victor was gone and sacy solo carried loud, breeze optic never figured out and fns and mraved didnt do great, that's how close it was. yeah bind and haven were both one sided but 2 OT maps that optic threw away is really sad.

All of vlr are talking about the ramifications of those teams splitting up rn. That's how much of an impact they had.

The org, Optic, isn't even on valorant anymore and there's still people rocking Optic flairs here and and on reddit just because of how insane that lineup was lol
