HeyClassic

How do you guys deal with Burnout? I solo que ranked almost every night and it can burn me out after a while and I just whiff everything. After playing another game for a few days (Mainly Overwatch with friends) It tends to reset the mental a bit and I start farming kids again.

What're your methods of overcoming Burnout?

I do the same, however I usually only play a couple matches a day so I only need to take a break around every 2-3 weeks

Just play other games until you have the itch to play valorant ranked again. The cycle never ends

turn off the game and touch grass as soon as I start whiffing , it unironically makes me play better when I come back because the urge to own kids builds up inside

I just play 2 games a day. And I usually just try not to grind. Honestly I feel like reading a book or really anything just gives you a breath of fresh air. Just read a story. watch a story. listen to a story. Just try to not think of anything else. And then realize that your jett is bottom fragging when you're playing killjoy so start being toxic af amiright.

i didn't get access to pbe. Well at least i have 699 wins in my valorant yr1 report. that's the one thing i'm proud about.

I've been playing more ssbu, bdo, genshin impact(rip ayaka i didn't save primogems fml), Apex, Titanfall2, and some r6. I have also been playing some tetris 99, stardew, and animal crossing but I don't play it that much.

lmao I just have hu tao and qiqi. I just use those 2 in the same comp with xingqiu for vaporize and either beidou or fish. So much elemental reactions lmao. I always imagine Hu Tao just chasing Qiqi though lmao. I really want ayaka. I only came back for ayaka. But I didn't have any primogems saved for her.

Also f2p btw.

Honestly I was trying very hard to like this game and at least go into tournaments. I have to be honest with myself and I just stop playing.

Before I usually do how you do it but with cs1.6 instead lol

Tilt queuing and feeling like you have to reach the goal of something I guess probably. I'm not sunot so I can't speak on behalf of him. But sometimes I forget that I'm not having fun when I have motivation to reach a goal. But then I'm not having fun but I don't realize that so I just get angry.

Just pure competition. I wanted to prove myself I can actually compete with the modern gamers and go into tournaments but I just lost motivation and interest to learn. I try to watch some games and understand it.

Please learn what burnout actually is. You're describing being tired. Burnout is quite a buzzword in esports rn but please understand what it means.

Well I am used to putting a shit ton of hours into a game I used to play arma 3 for like 160hrs a week so burn outs not a thing for me but having a game to play that's completely different to valorant like for example RTS is always a good way to over come burnout
