EU or EMEA

When people claim that EU is better than NA, are they including all of EMEA or just the 'EU' portion of the region?
I see a lot of people say that EU has the most depth in terms of top level teams and then list off teams like Gambit and SMB.

So I'm just wondering, do people think just the EU region (no CIS and TR) has more depth then NA?

I don't have high hopes on SMB or Gambit last time gambit got rolled by liquid and SMB has an insane Firepower maybe tanizhq did a good job but if not they have no chance against top tier EU (Acend ,G2 , FPX ...)

My bad it was FPX VS GAMBIT (2-0) and after liquid destroyed FPX

even then gambit beat fpx in their rematch and you cant say liquid wouldve rolled gambit just because they rolled fpx lol

Most likely EMEA. At least that's what I usually consider EU.

I do think EU has slightly more depth but not that much more. I think the EMEA region definitely has more depth though.

i believe they think of the actual EU region itself. I don't think CIS is better than EU personally.

I use both of these terms interchangeably. I do think that TR should properly be included into EU wide circuit from geographic perspective(i.e. no seperate TR region), while CIS depends on how many actual pro Valorant players are there outside of Moscow/Saint Petersburg, and from countries like Kazakhstan/Armenia/Azerbaijan/even Mongolia etc. But one has to also admit that TR gets the best viewership in the entire EMEA, so I suppose Turks having a separate region is warranted, even if it doesn't make much sense ping wise. Like heck, Team Finest play out of Israel in EU qualifiers without much of a problem.
