LOUD will showcase why they’re GOATed

They’ve done it in 2022, 2023, and they’ll do it again. They’ve showcased themselves to be the most adaptive team in the scene and even popularized the double controller meta last year single-handedly, and now that we’re entering VCT 2024 with a possible complete meta change since Skye was a big pillar for a lot of the current strats and comps, the LOUD gang will most likely be the first team to popularize the new meta teams will refuse to adapt to bc of how late these changes were made.

Expect them to start off strong this year is all I’m gonna say. Teams that are too slow on the uptake will suffer and no team whatsoever is an exception. Shit is like this is why we should stop jacking off to off season results too whether they’re bad or good.

I still think they are going to be number 1 seed for Madrid. People are doubting them way too much. Especially since a lot of the other rosters are completely new and will fumble at the beginning of the season, loud will stomp them

Yeah ngl the doubt has been insane but it makes sense on paper since they just lost the GOAT. Thing is though, meta reads will always be stronger than a single player’s individual performance, this game isn’t built for that kind of Shaq-like dominance

The big factor of all these comps was aspas being a demon oper and a great entry player and they have lost that.

Loud will have to play a completely new game I won't be surprised if they run no duelist on ascent and they most likely will not play in madrid but i feel like they can puch for a top 4 at champs

losing sacy and pancada and putting one 19 y.o and a 17 y.o to fill the role was a way harder job than replace Aspas

But they didn’t replace Aspas. They picked a player with a COMPLETELY different style.

Yeah and the double controller meta came from Frod. This change will be harder to recover from, but they will still be top 5 in Americas no doubt.

I think the real question is, was promoting Tuyz to duelist instead of picking up an upcoming duelist from T2? I'll be honest, I didn't watch too much of Tuyz on TBK, but I think Askia on Union looked good outside of their last game. Again, I didn't watch any of TBK, so I would defer to a Brazilian fan's opinion on this.

how do u know Tuyz has been promoted to duelist?

Hmmm... I don't remember the specific video I watched, I think it was TMV, and he mentioned that Tuyz was gonna be on Duelist and qck would be playing sentinel. I just kinda assumed it was the case, could be wrong.

well i hope not lol

there is no confirmation about that. tuyz might play duelist on some maps, but qck is likely being the team’s primary duelist. but since he’s a flexible player, the team can do role swaps between maps, and that adds to unpredictability

Even we brazilians don't know, Saadhak might create a super flexible team from scratch, we don't know his intentions when he chose QCK for the team. But QCK already played as duelist a lot and I think he will play Jett/Yoru on Loud. Other agents I don't know.

That's true. I think qck is more recently in my mind with playing senti since dgzin normally played Jett on Furia.

I have faith in Saadhak. Even if qck and Tuyz underperform. Cauanzin and Less + Saadhak is already terrifying.

Just because they beat SEN doesn’t mean they will be better with qck

Just wait for NRG

bro if you tell me this showing hasn’t convinced you, you’re either a lunatic or you’re really playing a character

we can’t say they’ll become better, but we can say they’re still contenders and they’ve got POTENTIAL to be better considering they can be more unpredictable with comps AND pick interchangeability (players play the same character differently, tuyz can also play raze, for example)

ok top 3 good for them but it doesnt matter unless you are 1st which fnatic was for 2/3 tournaments of the year 😉

if a team has less and saadhack then it will be a good team
the thing is, without the brilliantism of aspas it will be really hard to win masters/champions.
Loud will still be a top 4/6 world team, but I really doubt they could do better than that

my hot take is that aspas is the best duelist itw for his POTENTIAL of impact and he’s capable of solo carrying a map, but there are some observations:

  • he highly depends on the team setting utils up for him
  • he was not as CONSISTENT as it seemed**. Saadhak and Less have always been the most consistent players on LOUD when it comes to general match IMPACT (and that’s beyond ratings, beyond statistics)

*can’t count the amount of times i’ve seen aspas popping off in a half and disappearing (basically being useless) the whole other half

that being said, you have no clue what you’re saying. aspas was great for LOUD, but they can be fine without him

#41

Bro, Ur take about aspas not being consistent is no sense

#42
Shidoh

TLDR he is a goat and very capable of carrying but his ratings would frequently overestimate his impact while overshadowing the valuable contribution of everyone else

LOUD could have still won matches he popped off with another player and game plan. the inconsistency i am talking about is within the same match, not showing up when it matters the most but having mutikills against ecos or halfbuys
