How come when you watch anime you act like it's real life and when you watch live action you treat it like fiction? For example, when you watch Game of Thrones and the 100th rape scene happens you guys think it's cool and yell poggers, but when Yor Forger shows thighs for 3 seconds you think it's morally evil and degenerate. Why does this happen?

It's pretty clear from this statement that you haven't actually watched Game of Thrones

Why would I watch a rape show when a better fantasy in Frieren: Beyond Journey's end is airing right now?

Both shows can co-exist blud. I've heard nothing but great things about Frieren and plan on binging that anime once it's all out. That being said, you'll have a hard time convincing me that it's better than the first 4 seasons of Game of Thrones, which are legitimately legendary. Even more so if we compare Frieren's manga to ASOIAF. Calling Game of Thrones a "rape" show proves that you know nothing. It has some of the best written characters in the genre.

They like it way too much and feel ashamed. They just need to accept that they like erotic anime.

netero you know damn well that anime contains way more fetishes than western films/tv shows on average especially when a lot of them are only 13+ rated for the type of blatant shit they be showing.

The west is just as guilty with 50 shades of Grey breaking box office records and Milf Manor dominating streaming services! Also a ton of movies and shows have unnecessary 5-10 minute sex scenes that families are forced to watch together uncomfortably!

Both those examples have been clowned on relentlessly and rightfully so. Both Eastern and Western shows show some unnecessary stuff, but in actual good shows, like game of thrones and Frieren, it does not take away from their overall quality.

netero whatever sex scenes that occur will make the film R rated anyways + the point im trying to get across is the fetish normality of anime that is NOT R rated. Pull up some of the most popular anime rn like One Piece and look at the amount of blatant shameless af fan service they have for a series that's directly targeted towards young teenage boys. What's often disgusting about anime culture is that they would show fan service of characters that are even underaged which is jus fucked.

TV shows rarely do it without a purpose and anime/japan seems to have a real weird fetish for sexualising young children which is just fucking weird.
off the top of my head dress up darling / mushoku tensei were two shows I had to drop early because of how uncomfortable it made me feel watching some of those scenes, I've never had that with a tv show before and in anime its common.

watched 50+ tv shows never felt weirded out like that once
