how is clear getting a sub 1.0 rating for a 13-5 victory, 293 acs, and 6-0 in first bloods?

going 6-0 in first bloods should automatically give you a positive rating regardless of ur k/d lmao

you always get a bad rating if you have a lot of deaths its weird but its something ive always noticed. if he had 7 or 8 like the rest of his team he'd be well above 1.50
look at xeppa's lotus rating compared to runi's lol https://www.vlr.gg/184034/cloud9-vs-kr-esports-champions-tour-2023-americas-league-w8/?game=119237&tab=overview

that may be true but i remember runi had a couple clutches that map so maybe that also contributed to a higher rating

check out https://www.vlr.gg/160667/vlr-gg-player-rating-explained
but yea, as mentioned above, in general the rating favors low deaths

its why leo has SUCH insane ratings despite a lot of his value being impossible to track with numbers - his playstyle fits perfectly into how the rating system works
Its great for comparing support players statistically, but I do find ACS being a better number for duelists since (as an example) even if they get traded, getting a kill during an entry is good value (which the rating system would then devalue compared to the support players cleaning up the second person on site and not getting traded)
