suppose the Moist X Shopify project falls through after winning ascension, and Ludwig/Charlie go their separate ways from whoever is in charge of Shopify Rebellion, who is keeping the franchise spot?

I think it would largely depend on the internal contract that Moist X Shopify have. They've not merged the companies into 1, from what I can tell, they're using the Moist brand with Shopify funding. Assuming there isn't a clause in the contract that Shopify gets the spot, I believe the default would be for Moist to get it. I'm only speculating though.

Maybe Shopify, I guess, especially since they have an LCS team now, but it's entirely dependent on the circumstances, even if something does fall through. The spot won't be given to one or the other unless one side pulls out of the partnership.

It will be divided, Shopify is supplying money while ludwig is managing things rn I think

They are technically one org, the money will be divided to fund both orgs

Nobody here knows the answer it just depends on what the contract says, most likely it would stay the same as it is right now but thats a guess
