not sure you still need help, but I have a good amount of experience in this area (not wanting to reveal any personal details) feel free to dm me
If there is a local state university, try contacting their writing center. Oftentimes during application season they provide resources for students. They might be able to review your essays despite not attending. Otherwise, check with your school counseling regarding resources for essay review, as often schools will provide some resources in that regard.
