the new meta is raze-wise and lets be honest derke is definitely good enough to keep his team on top of emea but there is definitely way better razes on the other regions and even tho leo chronicle and alfa can carry to another championship i dont think he´ll get as much match mvps as he used to when jett was buffed af, also this meta has a lot of skye wise maps and we know leo is better on sova, chronicle will be fine cuz he has a good breach and viper and alfa will definitely keep carrying that team imo.
Did u forget fnatic won an entire tourney with derke only playing raze? Also derke is easily top 3 raze itw. Only jawgemo and jiing are better than him. Leo also literally didn't play sova a single time in tokyo. Lol fnatic have literally no problem on an individual standpoint. The only place where they might lack is their strats bcoz mini has stepped down and they became predictable at the end of champions. Fnc are still the best roster on paper
the map pool last year was super tough on sova players as there were only 2 maps where sova was meta and maybe 2 more if you forced fade on it, meaning the majority were skye focused, and leo was the mvp of 2023 in my eyes so he should do just fine on this map pool with another dedicated sova map in breeze and sunset looking to be a good fade map (obviously no idea on the pro meta but this is just my opinion as a mid immo player).
Excited to see my goat playing more sova than ever, especially when icebox gets added back as he was a literal terrorist with shock darts on that map.
