NA tier 1:

-Play for 5k a month
-have to travel to LA (ew)
-have to play against LOUD aspas (scary)
-If you lose in playoffs, you get get cut

NA tier 2:

-Play for 5k a month
-can play in the comfort of your own home
-have to play against TrickAim (easy)
-if you lose In playoffs, you still get picked up by SEN

Regardless, the fact that the Valorant Champions Tour, thats been advertised as this end goal league where everyone wants to end up in one day, compete for big bucks in, and play at the highest level at, is gradually becoming less and less distinguishable from the challengers league leading up to it says a lot about how true those expectations really are

Issue is that org prefer clout to be able to sell merch, they would never pick 5 unknown players even if they win something

Tier 1 is not about skill anymore, if you have 100% skill 0 clout = you not getting picked up

orgs would prefer to pick someone with 80% clout + 70-80% skill, because if fail, they at least could maintain balance between profit x cost
