surely it cant be a reason for Riot to not promote any team at all... as all teams are making roster changes including bringing in players who havent been in franchised leagues yet so they have to work all that through anyway... I cant think of a single reason yet that justifies their decision.

"logistic issues" is just a corpo cover up term for some serious problems in the background. Last year I was laid off from my job bcoz the company went broke and they called it logistic issues

The Guard has serial financial problems. They fired all the org staff mid season because they couldn't pay for it. You can't let an org with no money in. Literally at the same time you get the report that Xset still owes money. The problem is not not letting the Guard in is what happens with the players

It depends, if they do not meet Riot's conditions yes. Look at M8 in EMEA, created 3 days ago and they haven't had problems meeting the conditions

what if a team like TT or Bonkers won? Riot just goes lol no org,no bitches ,no franchising kewk! Kinda stupid no? Hell what if its a content creator org, where its way less prof.

An org would pick them up instantly as soon as they make the ascension tournament if they were FA. And if it is a content creator org and doesn't meet the requirements ofc it is the same. What are you supposed to do let an org like DSG in that has no sponsors? What's the guarantee that Disguised Toast is not gonna spot investing in the next 2 years?

last yr M3C was a masters winning roster who despite the war, preformed pretty well (while orgless). They lost the deciding match in LCQ to https://www.vlr.gg/112607/m3-champions-vs-team-liquid-champions-tour-emea-last-chance-qualifier-gf preventing them from Champions.

They were hella close to beating https://www.vlr.gg/107530/funplus-phoenix-vs-m3-champions-champions-tour-emea-stage-2-challengers-playoffs-lr2/?game=88814&tab=overview 2-0 for Masters Cope.

Even if they bombed out in the qual for Masters Iceland, they were going in as a roster that won a masters and were the runner ups in last champs. Why didnt a org pick them up? Orgs won't always pick up F/A teams even if they win cuz obv their contracts are gonna be way more expensive then signing some bum who lost during the first season. If ORGs didnt wanna pick up a masters winning roster why tf would anyone pick up a F/A accension winning roster that wont even stay in franchising for good amount of time.

You're confused there, they were technically still GMB players they just couldn't represent the org and could not travel. Not the same

Idk to what point they were paying, but yes still under contract for a while. They had that name because Riot prohibited Russian organizations to be represented in their competition. Probably once they it got harder contracts were terminated but it was a hard situation and can't really make deals with an orgs whose accounts are blocked

Guards ownership is one of the richest and biggest in NA. They just decided to cost cut from esports

Exactly why Riot couldn't have prevented what happened. What tell you the org won't completely pull out whenever they want
