Are they seriously perma banning Pearl to save it for the " right moment" or they seriously just dogshit at the map?
Regardless whichever one it is, its bad for Fnatic. If saving, it nearly cost them the game against drx and if they're just shit... Come on you had a year of perma banning Pearl and still nothing?
they werent comfortable on breeze last year, and then whipped it out of nowhere with a whacky neon breach comp and won against furia and 100t. but yeah non fnatic fans wouldnt know about that.
i am sorry but if you think fnatic do not have a prepared pearl then you are just not smart enough for this game.
Firstly I never said they wouldn't have a comp ready I said probably they are not comfortable with that map "probably" point to be noted.
Secondly not to mention that breeze comp had weakness and it was a one and done type of comp meaning it coudj the played multiple times it was just a surprise comp with a few stragies to use if they needed to use it. They might use pearl with surprise comp in lower finals or grand finals if they get there.
Tbf it's not even about how they play it for me. Haven, Icebox, Lotus, Bind and Fracture are the only maps that take advantage of Valorants unique mechanics and map design. Ascent, Pearl, Breeze, Split all feel very similar to maps on any tactical shooter.
Bind and Haven have the most variation when played though. I feel like every team does similar things on Lotus, Icebox and Fracture because of the way the choke points in the map are.
