The future of Game Changers

With 2 unspecified V1 members beating a whole variety of franchised teams in scrims recently

Is it safe to say that while we're not at the stage where full GC teams can compete against regular league teams, some GC players are entirely capable of competing against regular league players?

Do you think coed teams are in the horizon?

Finally, Leo Faria said the entire point of GC was to have coed rosters in VCT eventually. What will this mean for GC moving forward if it's the case?

i would like to see 1 slot for GC in 2025 at least,

Riot did the same for china and brazil when they were lacking so it should be done here

if the goal is advancement of GC players shouldn't the goal be to get experience with t1?

Why can't this be achieved by having gc players progress through the vct pyramid?
Winning challengers and ascension etc.

v1 can do it when they will be qualifying for challengers

no need for sexists fucks to complain about how they got their spot, let it be natural.

a bunch of GC and tier 2 teams already scrim constantly with franchised teams, you don't need to add a VCT slot for GC teams to gain experience playing against them

don't see how scrims compare to competition, the bottom line is that if the goal is co-ed, players should start playing everyone theres more room for growth there

riot is good at building esports scenes though so i'd trust leo

If a GC team is handed a free spot and they perform poorly (which they most likely will do relative to the other teams and end up at the bottom of the table) you're just going to have more complaints and division from the community regarding female teams and whether or not they can compete at the top. Peak C9 GC would get completely rolled by tier 2 and 3 unsalaried teams. It makes the most sense to have everyone progress through the ascension system and prove themselves there, it's better for everyone.

free slot not good. earn it like everyone else or have individual players good enough = good

no gc players want a free vct slot thats embarrasing if we dont get it we suck if we do get it awesome we dont suck as much

I defo think coed rosters will start to emerge next year, with varied success. Players like flor and bob could get into most challengers teams, but the issue is there is no incentive to do so. Until they get to franchise level I imagine most would prefer to stay in game changers

mark my words: the first mixed roster in franchising will be BBL, they're the perfect combination of a bottom tier franchised team with a top tier GC squad

knowing history, that wouldn't be the first time turkey is a leader in equalizing women's standing in society

honestly if ur a gamechanger player theres no reason to be in a mixed challengers team
the benefits of being in a gamechanger team far outweight being in a coed challengers team (that cant participate in gc)
