Has the major regions gotten lazy?

Just like in League, its clear that a lot of american teams and even some european teams are starting to fall of or not even try. I mean during the break liquid had from tokyo they didnt fix anything and in many cases looked worse. Fut look the exact same, NRG also look the same. The only Western teams who put any effort are Loud,Navi,FNATIC,Giants (can't judge EG rn and Kru had like no break). Meanwhile this is like Chinas first real year where they have more then one team playing and they show more promise then the other main region teams.

I rly hope val doesnt end up the same as it is in league. Where NA can't do shit, EMEA relying on one or 2 teams, and The East Dominating.

Then whats happening rn? When you work hard, your working on new things, yk learning not just prat the same things over and over again. NRG may have scrimmed a shit load but if its the same starts thats costing them the rounds then its = to not working at all.

FNS and Chet have historically also stated that they hate playing against non-traditional teams. They used to pretty consistently lose maps and win close series against the X10 core who kinda play similar to BLG.

I think that kind of mental block can lead to serious tilt in games. This team also clearly lacks the star power to pull themselves out of desperate situations.

Feel like in valorant it will be like this for a long time, with only 13 rounds pistols being important af, ultimates deciding rounds every region will have a few good teams that can win tourneys

But like lets be honest here why the fuck is EDG and BLG going as far as they are. Like they have no where near the exp as everyone else?. Like losing to EDG is fine, yk cuz like sure they were in champs 2022 and have been in every tourney since then. But still fucking NRG players been here since 2021 and there losing to GUYS WHO ARE AT THEIR FIRST LAN?

also BLG are playing insane rn but I watched them against FPX domestically they didn't look anything like this... feels like being on their first lan only made them play better

like Ik that BLG will get own in top 8 playoffs. I think They'll be a solid team in like a couple of months time but not atm.

You say major but tbh none of the regions really took over yet. Have to realized that APAC started late a bit with PRX still a csgo team after first master and switch over later. Then China didn't have game for like 3 years. These pros were just playing on other servers, didn't get to join international competition till end of last year.

tbh EMEA and Pasific look fine. Say what u want about 1 team region, but Giants and Navi showed so much improvement in such a little time. And DRX had a great glow up from tokyo and PRX from lock/in. Honestly I am targeting NA rn because we straight up are a one team region. I cant even blame BR because they don't have the chances we have in NA.

I feel like also first year of franchising. I think the team reshuffling threw a lot of things off too. The teams and region will settle eventually.

ykw thats acc a good point, but like we seen this happen in league before. First its one year, then 2 year, then it becomes the east dominating, with the west maybe having one team good enough. Wait till NA starts getting CN and APAC imports

lifestyle is definitely a problem too. players always sees NA orgs as a bag of money in every esports. in asian fps, players used to get paid for pennies because the scene is so unbalanced. riot is the savior of Asian FPS basically

expected in first year of franchising, teams who had a big roster change that its essentially a new team cannot compete, teams that lost their key players also lost their chemistry, and teams that really brought in an upgrade without breaking up the core of the team are doing well.

yeah u maybe right but its been like 6 months? obv im not a esports player so i dont know how long it takes to synergize. but like for NRG only ardis is the new one. s0m chet victor and crashies were all friends before. idk im just a lil disappointed that the reason CN is winning is because everyone else is throwing.

problem with those 6 months is there are few tournaments for them to get tested, there is technically just one season for these teams. nrg had two changes, sure som is their buddy but he isnt an upgrade to marved, just a replacement just like ardiis, not saying they are worse but definitely there is so much to consider including adjusting their playstyles.

id say blg is a big anomaly tho lol
