Map pick ban

Just confusing for me what’s the advantage of picking team A over team B won’t you want your opponent to pick first in case they pick the map you were going to pick or ban the one you were going to ban?

if u dont wanna risk the fact that ur team may have bad mental if they lost first map

it doesnt matter too much and teams always calculate what could hapepn before
