I figured it out! Aspas has not been fully focusing on playing because he's learning English in preparation to move to NA next year. He has given up this year and actually playing the long game here. Maybe there's also inner conflict but this must be the main reason why they bombed out in Tokyo.

Loud having internal problems with Aspas and they havent even been scrimming with him recently.
Aspas' personal life getting in the way of prac, everyone fighting, everyone having a bad time, crumbling leadership, under a new mediocre coach
Suffice to say Loud aint making it out of groups
