Their problem seemed to be (in my eyes) overcooking comps, lack of confidence and incredibly slow starts for some reason. The pressure got to them
Also they have good individuals but they just don't seem to hit their ceilings. We haven't even seen half of what bang can offer.
Hot take, I don't think 100T should make any roster changes or maybe 1 change at max

Their problem is they are shit except cryo and asuna. You can make a case of bang but that's it. Derrek and stellar are nothing special. I am not hating on derrek but this is a competitive scene with very few slots and he in his current form doesn't make the cut. His utility is extremely bad, he doesn't frag he can't trade his teammates he can't win his duels.
100T honestly should rebuild around cryo and asuna. Pick players from MxM or m80 they are amazing players and better than the other 3.
Derrek was so good last year man idk what the issue is. His aim and game sense was incredible then. I refuse to believe he just lost all that skill. Has to be a deeper issue. It has to be a confidence thing. 100T didn't seem to have the coordination they used to but they still tried to force that coordination and this ended up in the players losing their confidence to do anything by themselves. They seem to get nervous in every 1v1
The keyword here is "was". I agree that derrek playing this bad has to be a deeper issue and i feel for him but he is dragging his team down with him.
I am not saying all 5 of these players are bad or anything but these 5 as a team just doesn't work out. We have seen this since rb homeground they have been on a constant downhill. This team was at its peak at homeground and since then it just got worse.
Pick up eeiu and zander or anyone else from these top ascension teams and 100T will look good.
the first change i'd make is getting rid of mikeshd. or at least putting him back to assistant coach and finding a new head coach. obviously seangares was amazing for 100T, but i doubt he'd ever come back to competitive esports as a whole. unsure who else they would grab, i don't pay much attention to coaches and have no idea who would be available (besides M80's coach)
speaking of M80, they are the perfect team to start drawing from assuming 100T does kick players (very likely). first to go probably derrek. i don't really know how to judge stellar given that he's an IGL and he's shown flashes of brilliance but he probably would go too. bang and asuna i'm not too sure. both of them are extremely capable, i think they just need better coaching and igl to reign them in and work around them. cryo obviously stays.
EDIT: i've seen the trend of -derrek +eeiu for a bit now and i think that would be a good experiment. eeiu has been very good in ascension, and even was solid back in T1 on NRG.
