man the format sucks ass. I think teams like RRQ, GE, TALON, GENG have the potential to go far in lcq. I can even imagine they meet each other in GF. Is there any reason it has to be like this?

They're fighting for one slot. They better be the better team in splits so they could have the advantage. In another note I find most of the teams in pacific on almost same level right now and would only depend on how well they play on that day so it doesn't really matter who gets in.

Absolutely! I think people forgot that there wasn’t much of a skill difference between 4-9 teams in pacific. Literally 4 teams fate was still unclear until the last day.
