I mean, heretics did revamp more than 50% of their roster. Because of that, they lost their VCT points and Riot don't know their preformance as a team anymore.
Free pass to closed qualifiers, don't have to play through open qualifiers in RO512, RO256 etc.
Kind of a fair list to be honest, definitely based on performance during previous qualifiers.
Makes sense top 4 from challengers 1 and 2 should get a boost. All other regions should have this
they get automatically to round of 16. where it should be 4 groups of 4 with the default bracket
Makes perfect sense for G2 and Heretics to not be invited considering they both had massive roster overhauls.
yeah it would be a spit on other team's faces if G2 were invited. To this day G2 haven't done shit and it's up to them to prove that they should be invited to future closed qualifiers

I know they haven't played yet but they are definitely the best team from turkey on paper
these teams are the same ones that qualified for the closed qualifier in challenger 2, makes sense why they get a free pass
G2 isn't there because it's a new roster and the other invited ones played well in VCT prior
