Is stax actually the problem?

Obviously it is a team game and the blame of DRX's recent performances should not be pinned on one player, but I feel like the beef between stax and Termi is seriously affecting the mental of the team. As well, stax's individual numbers have gone down significantly from last year. Is it time to drop stax if DRX bomb out of playoffs?

Idk honestly, he has been bottom fragging all season. I don't know who would replace stax, unless they want to go all in with foxy9 and zest on main roster. But on a better note: rb and mako are really stepping up in almost every game so far, which is especially impressive for rb, who is known as the lan choker of drx. Although they still aren't winning.... its sad to see my favourite team fall like this.

They are having disagreements on how the 6 man roster should be run. Idk the details though. Maybe someone else can explain better?

iirc stax just said that he has his own opinions on the roster but in the end it's up to termi. And then vlr speculation goes wild

yea thats as far as I know. Termi wanted to bring in Foxy9 but stax wanted to stick with the main core.

Before Stax igl: DRX consistently getting 5-6th place only
After Stax igl: DRX 3-4th place Lock In, 3rd Champs
Why are people blaming it on him🗿

I'm not blaming it purely on stax but:

  1. Times r changing
  2. Pacific league stacked up the league instead of farming KR league teams
  3. Other teams improve massively, DRX been getting catched up by others
  4. Stax downward form means he's getting averaged out by competition, no longer the 'top player'
  5. Termi decision to not call timeouts in certain games to test out "stax IGL midrounding skills" proved to the reason of downward form, Termi is the one needed to lift up the team.
  6. Benching foxy9 and sub Zest in as 2nd calling Co-IGL seems to be somewhat of a short term solution to improve of the downward form.
  7. Now Stax and Termi are somewhat in a disagreement how to handle the 6 man roster problem.

Benching Benkai helped improve PRX, stax could be in a similar situation rn

It's just strictly because his numbers are down drastically compared to last year and even lock in. I trust in Stax to figure it out.

It's probably the six man roster problem all over again, honestly its crazy that some teams are still believe about rotating players for certain comps/maps instead of just focusing on team synergy with five permanent members.

WHAT DRX NEEDS:
Zest in 5 man roster please
Mental coach
And just time without so much to do
They feel like C9 csgo rn burnt out and depressed

i think that DRX were hoping for Foxy9 to be their game changer - like something for PRX. unfortunately,, they haven't given him enough time. THEY NEED TO FUCKING STICK WITH ONE ROSTER. that's their problem. constantly changing comps and rosters means that the players and coach are spread too thin in terms of practice
