Are we talking about their form objectively or in comparison to other players?

I dont really think TenZ was all too impressive at Iceland in retrospect since the average skill level of that tournament was considerably lower than, say, Copenhagen 2022

I put tenz in the list because, yes he hasn't been in form as a player since basically Berlin 2021, but i think its totally unfair to leave out what used to be the most feared player in valorant just because "the game was easier"

he was a monster of a player and I think still is one but the main point being, he deserves more respect for his achievements

"the game was easier back then" is a stupid metric, everyone had their opportunity to be the best at that time, its not like tenz had an advantage somehow its just that he was the best at the game back then and he slowly faded thats all

No but what I'm saying is: if we're talking about ranking the best players at their prime, then are we talking about ranking them based on how dominant they were or how objectively skilled they were compared to one another; as in, would prime TenZ at Reykjavik be able to diff prime Aspas?

If it's about how dominant they were, then yes I can see why you'd put TenZ on this list, he was a step above everyone else during his era.

But if it's about who at their prime was better, then I'd say there are far more players than TenZ who could go on this list until he proves himself again

that literally removes all context though. OP was asking about who was most dominant in past or present, so who was dominant in the context of each meta. TenZ was the 1st top player with the best stats of any LAN still to this day. I think Dokka's list is extremely accurate
