Great post, I think more guys need to take their mental health more seriously, being in trenches of emotions is no joke.

I have heard that the hotline is rather unhelpful, so please try to reach out and help your friends and loved ones before they need to use the services <3

We should stop all the hate in vlr
Trolling someone and hating are two different things and we should never cross the line
We don't even know what impact our words can have on someone

remember that you're allowed to feel like shit even if you think whatever's not a "valid" reason for feeling like shit and i love you

its not even a joke, im at my worst at the age of 19. most of my friends too, not exactly 19 but somewhat around that number.

i think it has to do with growing up. if i can at least give you guys a life advice, sometimes we need to admit that growing up is sucks. we have all the joy in the world when we were younger and suddenly life becoming more mature, dark, and most of it are sucks.

but we need to stand still, trust me, once you get over with it, you'll become a person with a better understanding of how life is works.

and don't forget to tell whatever inside your mind to ANYONE that you feel comfortable with. the burdens will becomes more easier if we're not only carrying it by ourselves.

How come suicide rate is so much higher? Is it really just because its less talked about?

From my understanding it’s the lack of conversation around the topic as well as men more likely to attempt more dangerous methods of suicide compared to women.

Yes, it is unfortunately still often seen as "unmanly" for men to talk about their feelings openly and cry about whatever they have to. This may lead to repressed emotions and sometimes depression. So yeah, men's mental health and emotions needs to be more validated, accepted. Those are valid, so please allow those emotions and thoughts to flow out, for both yourself and those around you. We need love and that's okay. Obviously, there's other factors, but these pressures on "masculinity" has always been very real.
