Regarding the passing of Twisten, i would like to express a few words of my own. I dont care how much it’ll help anybody, how much it’s going to effect someone’s day, i just want this to be said.

Life is an incredibly fucking fragile thing. Every day we live life sad, happy, mad, whatever the case may be, we live life. Twisten was incredibly young and had a career ahead of him. He was an amazing player and deserved nothing but the world. Today on June 7th, 2023, the VLR community will remember this day as an important one. A day to remember and understand just how important life, as a whole, is.

Rest in fucking peace Twisten. Vlr.gg will remember you forever.

I hope this can be a lesson too to not spread so much hate to the players. Criticism is fine but some of you mfs are going too far. Everyone’s going through something in life, let’s be nice to each other yeah?

Yes, please...
It's wrong when people says "it's his/her fault to care about what people say internet".
We all are different, some people has more resilience or tolerance to comments, and others don't.

Just be nice, it isn't hard to take one second before posting or writing something bad about someone.

it might not be, we don't know, but it's never the wrong moment to point those things as a learning for everyone.

I want everyone to understand what this means for the scene and for all of us as a community. This is the first time this happens (to this big of a scale), and our reaction to it, our unity, must show how much we care for something that we all love, the players. This will happen again (due to many factors someone can die).

Lets become one these days, lets honor the people we admire and watch for our own entertainment. We should show that, as a community, we deeply respect our players, mental health and the people who are deeply suffering because of this.

Lets all love each other, regardless of country, region, religion, and we should spread awareness about the things he have seen that can make a person who was so motivated, talented and wholesome take his own life.

Beautiful words man. Unfortunately people will forget about it as soon as Masters starts, they don't know the difference between criticism/jokes and personal attacks

Well written and very thoughtful piece, i also second the thought that we as fans of the game should always remember how the bigger things in life matter way more than being hateful towards people because of a video game.

Please Stop whenever you say something to any pro anywhere and think what you are about to do.

Please😭

Not even just to pros, we need to be kinder and more empathetic in general. Our words have the possibility to have serious repercussions and we just need to be more mindful. Every person is struggling in one way or another.

I think when it comes to being serious, especially during a time of loss, everyone can come together and speak some incredibly truthful and real words.

Very thoughtful, at the end of the day life is much bigger and nuanced than a video game, something we should try to remember before judging someone.
