and surrounded by former OpTic legends.

Only old OpTic can save NA washed region.

He was never mechanically good compared to aspas and derke, what made him good was that he didn't miss easy shots and was always able to secure kills, you see aspas and derke many times missing easy shots but they can make insane plays, while yay just didn't miss any shots at all during his peak. But nowadays duelist is more focused into doing entry + insane plays to secure rounds while yay has never good at it.
