Whoever wins Masters, do they get an additional slot for champions like in lockin?
and if they do, does the aditional slot take effect at LCQ?
like 2 teams from lcq go to Champions?

yes and it begs the question how the fuck lcq is gonna run
it's already hard for me to figure out how their formatting is going to be with 7 teams in it

no i think it's confirmed for them to join in the 2024 and 2025 leagues
so they cannot join this year

ascension just goes straight to league not lcq im pretty sure, i think they might just give c9 a bye

That would make sense, given it would also allow for whicher emea team that made masters but doesn't end up making champs an advantage over the other teams which didn't qualify for masters. So yeah probs a 7 team bracket with a bye for 4th position in overall standings

Giving C9 a bye makes the most sense.
However, not defining the tournment format before the teams are set is a big fucking mistake.
Because depending on the format and if someone gets some benefit from it, teams/community may claim that Riot chose that format with the intention of "helping" said team.
Honestly, RIOT has been taking so long to disclose these informations (or even define them) that I wondeer who's getting paid to make this shit job. Probably got a raise
