alright guys,
I predicted correctly the fall of C9 and also the result of Loud vs EG and now I'm confident I can see the future.

https://www.vlr.gg/213284/c9-looking-bad

FUT vs TL

This match is going to be a mess:

FUT 2 (1 stomp map)
TL 3 (1 stomp map)

EG vs NRG

Another match with five maps

EG 3
NRG 2

Yes, believe me, NRG will lose twice in a row to EG.

I told you guys the result of the matches, you can now bet and get rich. Don't miss this opportunity.

If you think I'm wrong, you're delusional.

I’m curious why you think EG will win.

Imo a loss will deter their momentum and NRG is pretty much playing with nothing to lose, being a team that never loses rematches.

Not to mention this is EGs first BO5 ever. EG can’t play better than they did against NRG last time and NRG can pretty much only go up since they threw that game.

(I’m not pissed I want to have a rational conversation)

Other way around imo. Optic core has always played better with pressure they are known for lower bracket runs, EG already qualified and they have footage on all of NRG’s maps + playing with no pressure they will be insane. Will be close tho. But same reason optic never got 1st seed into any internationals.

NRG made it clear that they were more than happy with just qualifying, and EG know they have to finish first if they want the smallest chance of winning Tokyo. I completely disagree

Nah i dont think eg will be going insane over tokyo placement when the roster cant go. Nrg wont play as well without pressure they have always looked worse in the upper bracket + they have never tried much after qualifying like the guard and xset games. But hey who knows.

I guess you are right, but I think the opportunity for a EG rematch and hopefully playing loud again will give them enough drive to win.
Regardless it will be a banga

Cool, listen.

NRG already showed everything they had in this competition, in terms of tactics and play style.
I'm not saying they can't adapt; FNS is a genius, but EG is known as an anti-strat team, and NRG is much more previsible than LOUD.

So, on a normal day, EG wins.
The only possibility I see NRG winning this is if everyone is on fire today and playing fast, which I don't think is going to happen.

Can they realistically keep up antistrating for a BO5? Plus antistrating is more or less a one-and-done play style, if they play any of the maps they played in the last two BO3s NRG will be adjusted.

If this was their first time playing I would agree with you but antistrating can only go so far, now that EG have played almost all maps and already played NRG twice idek

good argument, and I get your point.
Let's see the maps.

Split (EG is slightly better.)
Bind (NRG is better; Potter gotta ban this)

Heaven
NRG is trying to play Loud's comp here, while EG already lost to them 13-11.
This map, for example, I think EG is going to win because they have a lot of material to study and the map is good for anti-strats.

Ascent (EG 55%-45% NRG)
Pearl (NRG 60%-40% EG)
Fracture (Eg is clearly better; FNS gotta ban)
Lotus (NRG 55%–45%EG)

anything you would change here?

Nrg is a good team on fracture ur wrong here

Nrg banned fracture last time.

Banning does not mean they are bad
At lockin they played good fracture
Also eg fracture can be anti strated easily

They dont want to play fracture vs eg because eg are really good at fracture.

they are good, but until yesterday for me EG had the best fracture in the championship

I still think they do they just didnt have data to anti loud. Props to loud for saving strats it actually payed off. Also loud was really good at the anti themselves in bind and fracture.

I think you are right that it will probably come down to Haven I honestly could see it go either way. However I think that what you missed is how different NRG looked on it yesterday than they did vs furia. This will make it inherently harder to antistrat imo. Fns looked a lot more comfortable calling on the new comp and I think they will be able to adjust to something that Potter throws at them.

I also think that ascent is NRG favored (I know that EG beat them on it). I know this sounds like I’m coping but NRG looked uncharacteristically lost on that map, independent of the antistrating of EG on that map. I think that potter won’t add much of anything new and NRG will come in looking much better, also with good VODs since EG just played Loud.

Finally I’m worried that Potter won’t ban Bind. I think that they had anti strat planned for the NRG comp (it’s realistic to assume that loud would’ve played harbor viper) which is why they looked so bad vs loud and she will let it through so that can use the antistrat. Regardless of what Potter came up with I still think NRG would win.

Realistically I think this game will come down to just how composed the two teams are, and I think EG we feel a lot more pressure knowing they need to make it into Tokyo playoffs than NRG who have never won a regional tournament being comfortable with their current position.

I can't believe EG will let Bind open afterbeing stomped by Loud, but what you said makes sense.
Can we agree on a 5 map b05?

Both teams and supporters deserve a good match.

One thing is certain, EG will never win a bo5
They’re a full antistrat team and they don’t have nearly the map pool nrg does. EG win map 1, 3-1 NRG

This ^.
Antistrating a team which you have already played twice in a best of 5 is near impossible, regardless of the skill of the coach

No, I was wrong about the score, but the team winner is right.

Following this logic, EG wins today.
