Depends on tiebreaks (2 way, 3 way, 4 way etc)

Someone on reddit said this, haven't read the rules myself so could be wrong:

2 way tie is H2H
3 way tie is H2H in the case one team has beaten the other two, otherwise map diff>round diff
4 way tie just map diff>round diff, assuming no team has lost to all others

Geng beat both rrq and secret but they are still at bottom.

Vlr rankings for teams with the same record are arbitrary and don't take into account tie-breaker rules.

edit: Also, Geng have played all their games and are at 4-5, the other two are still 4-4 and could possibly still advance to 5-4, that is why they are ahead in this case.

No, all regions are following the same criteria. VLR just doesn’t update it right do not look at that. The criteria is:

Two way ties:
-H2H

Three way ties or more:
-H2H map differential (You look at how many maps you have won/lost against those other 2 teams)
-H2H round differential (Same as last one but with rounds against those teams)
-Overall map differential
-Overall round differential

Basically means overall map differential and round differential are completely useless
