Does sound in-game travel faster to my headphones than the image appears on-screen, or is the speed of the sound playing correlated to the hz of my monitor?

Like, if a skye flash pops in-front of me, and I have a 32 hz monitor, will I hear the flash popping before I see it? or will I hear it at the same time as I see it popping?

i think there is a point where if your screen is slow enough your sound will play first, like when a youtube video is frozen but you can still hear the sound

In theory it could go either way depending

But it's not ever gonna be enough to be able to tell the difference
unless your on like a 2001 dell laptop or smth
