korea has had the game for a while and league is still by far the most popular game.korean viewership peeked at 60k viewers during champs which is an improvement but tiny when compared to LCK which peeked at 1.3 mil

All large developing countries have huge potential if the infrastructure surrounding the sport/esport is built and nurtured so Riot taking a bet on China cannot go wrong. China/India/Brazil are always nice bets

No of players matters a lot as the potential talent pool is a lot higher.quality of coaching,training,work ethic are very important as well along with money to spend
