Why put the region's name under every team???
Zeta - JP
GE - IND
RRQ - IDN
GenG - KR like this
You won't see EMEA and Americas league having this feature. We don't see "BR" under Loud's name in the Americas league.

bcs they need to farm the fans, even with only 2 India on the team
it would be funny if rrq doesn't get warn from riot and put IDN with only 1 Indo player

It is designed to represent all countries in APAC

EMEA has had international teams back to First Strike and Ignition, only the T2 system is country based.
The Americas league has NA/SA but only really has 2 major countries, NA(USA) and Brazil because LATAM is a mix of other countries.

Pacific is based around countries with certain slots, and Riot intended it that way.

KR: DRX, GENG, T1
JP: ZETA, DFM
PHL: TS
IND: RRQ(although they almost fucked that up)
TH: TALON

The only international teams are GE(obviously wasn't keeping the old roster), and PRX(has had the same core for 2 years)

Pacific prides itself in having regional pride. Riot Jake did explain that the decision was also part of the marketing team, which makes sense considering across the VCT's lifetime,APAC have been defined by multiple subregions vying for APAC supremacy where in the past, Americas and EMEA (maybe EMEA) doesn't have that level of competitive pride to each region.

Not to mention maybe besides EMEA, Challengers APAC was the only region that has two stages for Masters/Champions qualification, the subregion Challengers (ID, PH, TH, etc.) and Challengers APAC playoffs.
