Now he's exclusively playing duelist in ranked , im guessing either a team in franchise picks him up as duelist / a NA vcl team does .... Hes a top player for sure theres no doubt abt it
I'll be honest with the style faze like to play and more importantly the way poised likes to igl I can see why you would prefer to keep baby bay over dicey at a Duelist position. Dicey plays slow and stable, babybay plays engage heavy and as the spearhead. He's inconsistent because of this whereas dicey plays slow and stable making him consistent
Also babybay's brand hard diffs dicey and branding is what makes money and fuck knows faze need money
babybay's brand fits perfectly faze's brand, and he's kind of a known guy in the Valorant community -- going so far as to making content with Riot for their events.
He's a decent enough player to be in a pro team, so Faze keep him for those two reasons. No one else on their team has a brand like that, and things like that are what brings in the viewers/money.
SO yeah, he might not be the best, but he's good and what Faze as a brand needs in order to keep somewhat of a fanbase
