I get like 70k average in gridshot ultimate, and pretty decent scores in other tasks too. Why doesnt this translate to my in game aim? I mean I have seen some pros with similar scores as me, but clearly their aim is much much better. I am not complaining about my rank here, because obviously its not all about aim, but just talking about aim here.

I get 60k to 65ks and Im Plat 3. The reason for this is because aimlabs is for arm aiming and most of the time you are gonna be doing wrist aiming in valorant assuming you have a normal sens.

But I dont think thats the only reason, because there are tasks for micro flicks etc

Gridshot is not a good exercise for preaim/shooting heads, it can help with transfering to the target from some distance with muscle memory.. You're better off learning the more important stuff(moving->stopping & shooting) in DM/Ranked.

So much of Valorant is really just preaim, you want to minimize the amount of "actual" aiming you'll have to do. Gamesense is important too and being aware of where the enemies are/can be and at which timing. Much more so, than your ability to flick.

I also get 70k average I'm gold 1 but gridshot is not really important to me I find microshot much better cuz you train your wrist aim.

aimlab or any aim trainer experience does not transit to the real game, ask any pro if they spend 6 to 8 hours on aimlab or deathmatch.

gridshot is useless

In game the head of enemy is not as big as that gridshot target thing

aimlab is just a clicking game

gridshot isnt fully uselss, i progressed from 30k to 95k consistent and have actually gotten better at the game but the other practices are much better if you wanna focus on something in particular
or just play deathmatch

i get 55k on gridshot, and im plat 2, gridshot doesnt train preaiming, probably the most important part of valo aim. i play csgo deathmatch because valo deathmatch system sucks, i have 40 hrs on csgo this year, and havent played a real match once.

think of aimlabs like this. It's meant to help increase your accuracy and reaction time, while giving you feedback on what you are doing wrong and how to fix it. while it can help improve your aim in games, it doesn't mean it will transfer over since you shoot at heads in games, not a ball that gives you points. the ball doesn't move, but ppl with pixeled heads can move, making it harder as a result

Bro, gridshot is just like a warmup exercise. It’s literally the first thing you do before really train on aimlab.

Btw, if you just want to make 100k + on gridshot for whatever reason, a high sensitivity will allow you to do this. I know a gold 2 guy that can make big scores like 110k on aimlab but his aim is a real shit.

Personally, I’m around 80k either trying to hit the closest target or flicking to the most far.

I have preferred to train in the microflex accuracy mode, I feel it makes more sense for valorant.

Gridshot is really bad for actually training your aim for valorant, I mostly just use it to warm myself up because I don't want to play deathmatch
