He is not lying. I have seen a lot of Mixwell Streams on Ranked and he is speaking alone, any info, any intensity. EU ranked is really boring like Shahzam said.

His first games HAVE to be in platinum 3. That's the rank cap on placement matches.

The platinum 3 cap is on visible rank, not MMR. With "smurf"/new ranks you have to look at enemy's ranks(as they have older accounts) to gauge the actual average rank of the match. Those matches were lost in low immortal for sure, by the looks of it.
