There are rumours saying that G2 will look like this in the near future:

  • mixwell, pyth, AvovA, nukkye and ALEX (British CSGO In-Game Leader) or koldamenta from Acend.

Also there are other rumours saying that Heretics will change AvovA and nukkye for ardiis and patitek, paura is going to an Turkish or a French team, and with RUBINO leaving they will rebuild with loWel and free agent/benched csgo players (this is what lowel wants to do). And that they are looking for some csgo coaches like moses (Liquid), peacemaker (ex Mad Lions, Liquid, NRG, Heroic, and many others ).

What do you think?

the newest rumours that i know said koldamenta won't be in G2 Esports
also tell that G2 is testing three players: ALEX, Morfan and third unknown player (not kolda).

Not really, he probably got the info from Universo Valorant (spanish valorant show) with sources between clubs. Lucas Rojo (G2 Head analyst) is on the show too.

ALEX just does not fit valorant in my opinion. Of course, i havent seen him play, but its just my bold call.

they are literally trying to build a team by looking at which washed CSGO player is available. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP

try looking at some Solo Q talent, not another washed pro. That's why we are butt of the joke for CSGO community, because people keep favouring washed CSGO player instead of picking up actually young cracked Valorant talent

some of those "washed" csgo pros might find their confidence and motivation again in Valorant, just look at Scream. And while scene is pretty new its only logical to look for more expirienced competitive players. May be year from now or less teams would actually look at "cracked valorant talents" more because meta would be more or less set and CSGO expirience would become irrelevant.

TLDR: right now signing CSGO pros over yong talents looks logical. And nobody cares about what HLTV or CSGO community thinks of valorant.

yes, but a lot of these CSGO pros never even seriously played Valorant. Scream, Wardell and other ex-CSGO players are different since they started playing from day 1 on the game. So they have as much experience as ppl who 'grew up' with Valorant.

I think you’re right, but we should also take into consideration that G2 needs really fast success, so it’s understandable that they rely on proven and more experienced pros who played on bigger stages in cs already rather than on some 17 year old talents
