I stopped keeping up with valorant just as franchising began, can someone explain to me what the requirements are for the major? like how do they pick which teams make it, or do all franchised teams get in?

International League based LAN season round robin -> playoffs. Top 3 qualify to Tokyo unless you're from the region with 4.

Each international LAN has points assigned to each placement, top 4/5 teams from each league get into Champions + 1/2 from China
