The part I can't understand is why Brazil has 2 slots and the whole EU, CIS and TR have 2 slots. Also there are 2 slots for LATAM. So why 4 from LATAM? EMEA teams need more slot. CIS have 1 to play in EMEA Finals lol.

There are 1 slot for LATAM, the winner of Latam north play against the winner of latam south. EMEA will have more slots after corona issues ...

they won't. the corona issues would be concerning only LATAM South, and the organizers have stated that if the winner of LATAM South can't travel to Mexico for the LAN match, then they will send the LATAM North winner as a representative for the whole of LATAM

didn't know the south north thing but having that much slots are crazy. eu or emea needs min. 1 if possible 2 more slots. but it's not that important because after iceland there will be just 1 LAN after that LAN the Champs shit

Brazil is a country of continental size with a very strong FPS culture. Brazil alone carries the numbers on CSGO broadcasts. Just see what happened this weekend. Heroic vs. Astralis with 110k viewers while THE PLAN vs. random team 130k viewers.
The Valorant scenario is new, you do not know the Brazilian teams and do not know their strength. But I agree that Europe and Korea should have more slots, it is sad not to see the top4 EU and VS playing on LAN.

same with the turkey except the FPS culture. Professional VALORANT streams get views more than 100k nearly each time especially when bbl plays and also having more views shouldn't be a reason to get more slots. quality is more important for me. and ty for ur answer

For me it should be the same as it is in League, Turkey should be an independent region with 1 slot.

just this iceland lan is 10 teams.it is 16 actually in masters 3 lan there are 16. in masters 3 lan there are gonna be 4 emea 3 na and in champions there is gonna be min. 3 eu and 3 na.

I mean look at Champions - 16 teams, yet they still decided to give 4 to LATAM+BR while only 3 to EMEA (also 1 from Masters 3 which is probably going to go to NA or EMEA, but still), and 5 to Asia with only 1 or 2 of them going to Korea

checked that rn like wtf. unfortunately emea and na teams are probably the best team and we can all understand that rito wants to give chance to other regions teams but we must consider the quality of the teams too. giving a chance just because they're not from emea or na is idiotic xdd

can you please send the reference. don't think this is for real coz turkish streams, especially when bbl's match streams number of views are more than 100k on twitch. if that was correct TR would have it's own slot not EMEA.

For them just because we are next to each other, we should be part of the region. They don't know that if a guy from the North/Northeast of Brazil tries to play he gets an average of 100 ping because Brazil only has one server that is located in the center of the country, which is not the most appropriate and fair place for everyone . Imagine a game between an Argentine team and a team from the north of Brazil hahaha
