NA EASY FIX

Move the esports scene out of LA. It's a LA culture problem. Worked Europe, china, and north American league scenes - the NA one has a huge issue with inflated self and laziness compared to the other regions. Until the esports scene moves out of LA, it'll continue to fail.

Why practice when you can get high and eat takeout? Why push yourself when grifters blow smoke up your ass because it's the town of egos and bullshit sold to make money with minimal effort or work? The culture takes talent and kills it for greed.

Has nothing to do with NA born and everything to do with that city and the personality types it enables and habits it produces in that scene.

EDIT: to be clear, I'm not against work/life balance and think a lot of habits in esports are unhealthy and problematic/abusive to the players. Unfortunately, in the market you're competing against very unhealthy habits and at that level, the margins for error are ripped open in comparisons. But I also think the LA culture in esports needs a big reality check and their blank check books taken away because they're fucking the entire system.

It's insane because worldwide the US working culture is considered one of the harder working and more intense work-life balances (EU people constantly making fun of the US for it), yet in both League of Legends and Valorant, the NA scene is one of the chillest, low effort scenes.

Players don't need to win to make money in NA.

i think its ANY major city in the US except NYC. a lot of people aren’t necessarily lazy, but get too comfortable and take advantage of their luxury. almost every NA team has a person who appears significantly unhealthy (physically) with a few exceptions, 100T, TGRD, most challengers teams…etc. the issue is that teams in franchising spend 10-12 hours sitting at their pc every single day and few make time to go to the gym and workout or exercise by going out on a run. not getting even 15 minutes of activeness every day is VERY unhealthy. plus, people take advantage of their excess money and eat out every single day which, again, is not healthy long term. restaurants tend to use more oil, more frying, less fresh food and thats very very bad for people’s nutrition. tbh they just have to manage their time better, make time to prepare a well balanced, fresh meal, make time to go to the gym or run a mile, make time to walk around and dont sit all day!!

on the other hand, look at my papa pujan.. bro goes gym every day, he is massive!
